Under the action of water pressure, water enters the measurement chamber from the lower water inlet, pushing the rotating piston to rotate around the central axis of the measurement chamber. At the same time, water flows from the empty space inside the piston and the space formed between the piston and the measurement chamber wall to the upper water outlet. As the piston rotates, Connected to the counting mechanism by a rotating shaft and fork, the volume flowing through the water meter can be calculated by recording the number of piston rotations.
